Washington, D.C – In an effort to combat chronic hunger across the nation, a bipartisan coalition led by Alaskan Congressman Don Young has introduced H.R. 461, the Wild Game Donation Act of 2015, to provide hunters with charitable deductions for the costs associated with donating processed deer, moose, and other wild game meats to food-based charities.

Washington, D.C. - Days after Alaskan Congressman Don Young announced the introduction of legislation to rein in attacks on Alaska’s oceans, particularly those that would unnecessarily harm local economies and communities from accessing critical areas for activities like fishing, natural resource development and marine commerce, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has rejected an outside environmental group’s proposal to close off 545,000 square miles of federal waters through the establishment of Aleutian Islands Marine Sanctuary.
